私たちはデザインにソルトシュリンクナイロンを取り入れています。Gorp（Gore-Pro）の世界的な影響にさりげなく敬意を払いつつ、SYUMANはこの素材にさりげないアイロニーを込めて提案します。ナイロン繊維は特殊な化学的膨潤処理とその後の収縮を経て、密度の高い継ぎ目のないテクスチャーを生み出します。この技術により通常のナイロンに比べて強度が飛躍的に向上するとともに、伝統的な日本の和紙を思わせる独特のドライな手触りと自然なシワの表情が再現されています。
ナイロンの軽量さ、耐久性、防水性といった本来の利点はそのままに、独特な質感、張り、弾力性によって視覚的にも触覚的にも新鮮な感覚を生み出しています。このテクスチャーと感触は、あえて時代を超えたクラシックな美意識を取り入れ、2025年に大胆に復活させました。
これに合わせて、非常にショート丈でワイドカットの一枚仕立てライダースジャケットのシルエットを採用し、多様なレイヤリングに適したアウターシェルを制作。革新と伝統を融合し、現代のフォルムと機能性の中でシームレスに調和させることを重視する方へ向けたアイテムです。
We incorporate salt-shrunk nylon into our designs. While lightly paying homage to the worldwide influence of Gorp (Gore-Pro), SYUMAN presents this material with a subtly ironic twist. The nylon fibers undergo a special chemical swelling process followed by shrinkage, resulting in a dense, seamless texture. This technique dramatically enhances strength compared to regular nylon, while evoking the unique dry hand-feel and natural wrinkle effect reminiscent of traditional Japanese washi paper.
The inherent advantages of nylon—lightweight durability and water resistance—are preserved, yet elevated by a distinctive texture, firmness, and resilience that create a fresh sensory experience both visually and to the touch. The texture and feel deliberately embrace a timeless, classic sensibility, reintroduced boldly in 2025.
Complementing this, we adopt the silhouette of a single-layer rider’s jacket with an extremely short length and a wide cut, crafting an outer shell perfect for versatile layering. This piece is designed for those who appreciate both innovation and tradition, fused seamlessly in modern form and function.
