Frightジャケットをインスピレーション源とし、細部にまでこだわって作成しました。SYUMANのアイテム構成において必ず登場するミリタリーモチーフは、その理由として、デザイナー自身が古着を頻繁に着るわけではないものの、唯一手に取って何度も購入してしまうのがミリタリー関連アイテムであるからです。なぜか強く惹かれてしまう、男のロマンとも言える魅力がそこにあります。その魅力は素材感やディティールに表れており、必要最低限のデザインながらも非常に機能的である点にあります。まさに「制服」と呼ぶにふさわしい存在感を持っています。

今回のモデルは空軍をモチーフにしていますが、陸軍や海軍のデザインも雑食的に好み、特定のジャンルに偏ることなく取り入れています。これは単なるオタク的なこだわりではなく、おそらくデフォルトの感覚から生まれているものです。また、現代を戦い抜くために日常の仕事着として昇華させました。素材にはエコレザーのスウェードを用い、今や本革よりも高価になっているという時代の変化を反映しています。改めて、現代的なエコスウェードを採用したアイテムとなっています。サイズ感はタイトめに設定し、シャツのように着用できる多様性のあるデザインです。

Inspired by the Fright jacket, this piece has been meticulously crafted with a focus on every detail. Military motifs, which always appear in SYUMAN’s item lineup, are featured because the designer, although not frequently wearing vintage clothing, repeatedly finds themselves drawn to and purchasing military-related items. There is an inexplicable attraction to them—perhaps a sense of masculine romance. This appeal is evident in the materials and details, showcasing a design that is minimal yet highly functional. It possesses a presence truly deserving of being called a "uniform."

This model is inspired by the Air Force, but the designer also embraces Army and Navy designs without bias, incorporating influences from various branches. This approach is not an obsessive fixation but rather a default sensibility. Furthermore, the jacket has been elevated as everyday workwear to endure modern challenges. The fabric used is eco-leather suede, reflecting the current era where it has become more expensive than genuine leather. Once again, this item utilizes contemporary eco-suede leather. The fit is tailored on the tighter side, offering versatility to be worn like a shirt.
